About

Hi, I’m Evyatar Cohen, wine enthusiast and owner of Kos Shel Bracha wine shop in Katamon, Jerusalem.
In the years before operating the shop, and the 10 years since, I’ve had the pleasure and privilege of experiencing the explosion of viticulture and winemaking in Israel.

My Goal
A huge number of kosher wines are available now, and my mission is to help you find the best in every category. Using my knowledge of winemaking, contact with winemakers, immersion in Israel’s wine culture, and continuous wine tasting, I strive to:
- Bring you the best quality and value wines available, in every price range.
- Introduce noteworthy wineries, winemakers, grape varieties, and wines.
- Provide a selection of the most enjoyable wines for the season.
- Help with wine suggestions for gifts, occasions, food pairing, and tasting.
My Method
I look for wines that stand out for quality, value, originality, and other reasons. The result is a selection that offers a range of wine enjoyment for every taste and budget.
Having the right selection is only a start, so information is available about every wine, and the website has features to help you find the right wines every time, including the ability to contact me for advice.

I’m looking forward to bringing you great wine experiences, surprising value, exciting new wines, and more. – Evyatar Cohen
